This is Adelaide's only planetarium, so it's not like local astronomy buffs have a lot of choice about where to go. That said, the set-up is good and the programs are varied enough to warrant repeat visits. Check the website: they show specially formatted movies too, and you can sign up for multi-week study-courses if you're really keen. The facility is only opened for bookings, so this is something you'll want to get a group together for. Well worth doing at least once!

A different place to take the kids on school holidays. Educational and enjoyable for all ages. Reasonably priced, easily accessible. Cafe on site.
